Not long after waking this morning, I saw a KDKA news story about a sad accident that happened last night on Bigelow Boulevard. I then read a bit about the old thoroughfare, and found this 1915 photo of it at brooklineconnection.com.

OK, this is probably my favorite Pittsburgh picture on Shorpy yet. That was the year my Grandmother was born. Wow.
